It’s a beautiful day in my part of the country.  It’s comfortably cool, a brisk but gentle wind, and the sun is shining brightly.  I’m working in my downtown office today and in following my own advice to move more during the day, I took a short walk.  And by short, I mean really short.  I had to go to the bank today.  My building is in the middle of a block, the bank is diagonally across the bank from the end of the block, so I walked.  On my way back instead going back to the office, I walked to the opposite end of the block and looped back through the little park at the corner.  All in all the entire trip took about 20 minutes.  Not bad, plus I got some fresh air and a little sun. 

Maybe you can’t get a workout in on some days.  Or you maybe you never workout.  No worries, you can still make the effort to move more.  That can mean anything from adding an extra 5 or 10  minute walk to an errand you’re already running to getting out of your seat and dancing along to your favorite song playing on the radio, Pandora, Spotify, etc.  Whatever you choose to do, have fun!
